1. Who we are

2. The Service today
ARREU is in early development. At this stage it lets you create and manage an account and its privacy settings; record on a world map which countries you have visited ("My World"); record trips as an ordered list of stops with the transport between them and, day by day, the visits, activities and movements of each trip ("Trips"); upload photos, which ARREU can suggest placing on the stops and days of your trips using the date and location the photo itself carries ("Photos"); and keep a trip together with people you invite, as owner, collaborator or viewer ("Shared trips"). You decide what to keep: suggestions are never applied without your review.Your content is private to you unless you invite someone to a trip or choose to publish it. You can also have a public or private profile and publish a trip publicly or by a private link (“Public profiles” and “Trip publishing”). Bookings, payments and generated videos do not exist yet; these Terms will be updated, and you will be asked to accept the new version, before materially new features are introduced.
3. Who can use ARREU
You must be at least 18 years old. By creating an account you confirm that you are. We do not knowingly offer the Service to anyone under 18.
4. Your account
Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can change your password, sign out of all devices, export your data and delete your account at any time from Settings.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes. [Detailed acceptable-use rules — to be written with counsel.]
6. Your content
You keep the copyright in the photos and text you add. You give ARREU only the limited permission it needs to run the Service for you: to store your files, to make smaller copies of them, to read their date and location so it can suggest where they belong, and to show them back to you. Nothing you upload is shown to anyone else, and we do not use it to advertise or to train models — with the exceptions you control below.
Shared trips. A trip you own is yours to share or stop sharing: you can invite people, change or remove their role, hand ownership to another member, or delete the trip. When you invite people, you allow ARREU to show them the trip content you and the other members add, and the pictures (thumbnail and display copy only) of the photos you place on it, for as long as they belong to the trip. Invite only people you trust, and remember that anyone who has an invitation link can use it until it is used, revoked or expired. A collaborator can edit the trip together with you, and what they add stays on the trip if they leave.
Public profiles. You choose whether your profile is public or private and can change it at any time. A public profile lets anyone, including search engines, see what it shows: your username, name, bio, links, avatar and cover, your World map and statistics, and your public trips.
Trip publishing. Only the owner of a trip can publish it, and only by an explicit choice. When you publish a trip you allow ARREU to show it to the people you chose — anyone (public), or whoever holds its private link — as described in the Privacy Policy: including the day-by-day entries co-travellers added, and display copies of your own cover and, if you choose, your own photos placed on it (you can hide any of them), and the photos of another traveller only if that traveller chooses to share them — never their name, and never private notes, prices, booking references or exact coordinates.Dates of a trip that has not finished are never shown. You can unpublish or replace a private link at any time; access ends at once, and nothing is deleted. Before you publish, make sure you have the right to show what the trip contains and that co-travellers who added to it are content for it to be shown; anyone who holds a private link can pass it on, so share it only with people you trust.
Your photos on public pages. Nobody else can make your photos public. When you share some of your photos in a trip another person publishes, you allow ARREU to show their display copies to whoever can see that trip, for as long as you keep sharing them; you can stop at any time, and they stop being shown automatically if the trip is unpublished, opened up to everyone after being shared by link, or handed to another owner, or if you leave it. When you choose Featured Photos (up to 12), you allow ARREU to show those display copies on your public profile, without their trip, place or date, until you remove them or make your profile private. Only share photos you have the right to show, and think about the people who appear in them.
Reporting and removal. Anyone can report a published trip. We may take a published trip out of public view while we review a report, and may remove or permanently unpublish content that breaches these Terms or the law. You are responsible for what you add and publish: only add photos and text you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful. ARREU does not currently scan uploaded files for malware, so open files you download from the Service, including your export, with the usual care.
7. Ending the relationship
You may delete your account at any time; deletion is permanent and removes your photo files. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. [Notice periods and grounds — to be defined.]
8. Liability and disclaimers

9. Changes to these Terms
We publish each version with an effective date. For a material change we will ask you to accept the new version; until you do, features that depend on your agreement may be unavailable, but you can always view these documents, manage your settings, export your data and delete your account.
